Sogand Zamani joined
McChesney & Dale as an associate in 2005, and maintains a general
practice with an emphasis in Taft-Hartley Trusts, ERISA litigation,
employee benefits and commercial litigation. She serves as counsel to
the trus
tees of several local unions and has represented corporations
and individuals in litigation involving disputes in real estate,
business tort actions and contract.
Sogand graduated from the
George Washington University Law School in 2005, earned a Masters from
Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences in 2002, and graduated from
Georgetown University, cum laude,
in 2000.
She is admitted to the bar in the
District of Columbia and Maryland, and is admitted to practice
before the United States District Courts for the District of Columbia
and the District of Maryland.
In law school, Sogand was the Executive
Articles Editor for the American Intellectual Property Law Association
Quarterly Journal. In 2003, she won the Annual Cohen & Cohen Mock Trial
Competition.
Sogand is a
member of the American Bar
Association and the Iranian American Bar Association.
